San Angleo, Texas
First settled by the indians at the convergence of the the Concho Rivers the area was later discovered by the Spanish when they traved the rivers in the 1500's of what today is Texas . Later they established a missionary for the indians. In the late 1800's the frontier fort , Fort Concho was established by the Army. The city of Sainta Angela grew into a comunity to service the fort and it's personel. Later the name was changed by the post office to it's present day version San Angleo.

Fort Concho still stands and is considered the best preserved fort of the frontier days of the wild west.
